Buying the Canaan Avalon Mini 3 37,5 TH/s: what to check

Technical page reviewed: 2026-09-22 · Technical source ↗

Who is this miner for?

The Canaan Avalon Mini 3 targets BTC and other networks compatible with SHA-256. It is not enough to compare the purchase price: your electricity rate, available voltage, airflow, noise tolerance and expected operating hours determine whether the machine is suitable for your site. VoltASIC does not use projected mining income as a sales promise because network difficulty, asset prices, pool fees and uptime change over time.

Power, heat and network planning

At continuous operation, 800 W represents about 19.2 kWh per day and approximately 576 kWh over 30 days before ancillary losses. Plan the electrical circuit and heat extraction before installation. The listed network interface is LAN / Wi‑Fi module; a stable wired connection is recommended for mining hardware.

New or checked used?

A new unit reduces uncertainty about previous operating history. A checked-used unit can lower the upfront cost, but the condition of the actual machine matters more than a generic model description. VoltASIC's used workflow is designed to document functional checks, serial information and packaging details when recorded for the order.
